About the Project
This cute little transformation was created in order to support our successful crowdfunder campaign last year. We wanted to show that it doesn’t take a lot of money, or time, to make a big change to a space. The team pulled together a few key features, rolled this out within twenty minutes, and used the installation to film a promo video for the campaign.
We had a great time doing this, enjoying a very funny chat with a bemused traffic warden (who we were able to show our parking ticket to!), and loved engaging with people as they walked past.
Our lovely, lively pop-up put smiles on a lot of faces.
Outcomes
We were hoping that this installation would help us get the crowdfunder over the line. We weren’t quite expecting the response we got however! Within two hours of us packing up to go home, we were contacted by a number of local hospitality businesses, and asked whether we could help them design and install their own outdoor spaces.
Conversations began, and the idea of a sPark It B2B sevice was born. We are in conversation with the Local Authority and a number of other key stakeholders on some very big installations, and hope to be able to share details very soon.
